Shredders residues recycling
" Our professional experience and our research allows us to offer solutions for the extraction of non-ferrous metals from "earths" (fraction from 0 to 15mm) coming from shredding residues. The numerous tests performed have allowed us to recover up to 10% of the metals in this fraction. For example, our demonstrator "RB line" installed at Trept, allows us to process and sort different types of residues and obtain ferrous and non-ferrous metals, but also sand, glass and plastic."
MTB Magpro has also developed an eddy current based solution allows non-ferrous parts of very small size to be recovered using a technology which is unique in the world, the D15: a vertical axis eddy current machine specialized for particle sizes from 0-5mm.
A major economic stakeholder in the market for the recycling of industrial waste, MTB has been actively committed for many years to the concept of circular economics.
MTB is associated with the manufacturer Renault in the framework of the Icare 95 project, which aims at the total recycling of vehicles by means of a much more efficient separation of materials.
