Although the Used Tyre Recycling Industry has only begun its development in France, the RÉGÈNE company and its subsidiaries have every reason to expect widespread implementation of the most advanced recycling technologies.
For example, the Montauban subsidiary recently acquired a high-capacity rotary cutter: BDD 1700 H supplied by the French company, MTB Recycling, located in the eastern part of the Lyon region.
These BDD 1700 H cutters produce 50x50mm and 100x100mm chips, with a capacity reaching 20 Tonnes per hour, according to ALLIAPUR criteria, in order to also feed its own granulation line.
The common objective in the Montauban (82), Bayonne (64) and Charité sur Loire (58) subsidiaries is to be equipped with MTB Recycling brand shredders and granulators that produce aggregates and crumb rubber.
For MTB Recycling, the next step is to market a mobile BDD 1700 H cutter that will shred stocks of scattered used tyres.
This machine is presently under study; its flexibility will be a major asset for those specialized in the industry.
